Our Pastor

Pastor C.O. Preston is the son of the late Roscoe Preston, Sr and Marie Preston.  He was born in Terrell, Texas and graduated from Terrell High School.  At the age of fourteen he preached his first sermon.  In order to prepare for life and ministry he went to Jarvis Christian College and graduated with a B.S. Degree in Sociology and Religion.   He attended the Criswell College where he received an M.A. Degree in Christian Leadership.  Later, Pastor Preston attended Texas A & M University, Commerce, Texas where he received an M.S. Degree in Education Administration.

He is presently working toward his doctoral degree at Houston Graduate School of Theology in Houston, TX.  He has served as pastor for thirteen years including pastor of the Goodwill Baptist Church of Greenville, Texas, and the El Bethel Baptist Church of Waxahachie, Texas. Pastor Preston is married to Charles Etta Dorsey Preston.  Together they have two children, Xavier and Charisma Preston.  Pastor & Sis. Preston both have a passion to seek and do the will of God, and advance God’s Kingdom.
